Throughout the month of May, SELCO (Southeastern Libraries Cooperating) is hosting a series of author talks over Zoom as part of the 2021 Minnesota Author Tour. The program is possible due to support from the Minnesota Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund and the Minnesota Library Legacy Program.
The author tour concludes on Tuesday, May 25 at 6:30pm with a talk with Margi Preus.
Margi Preus is a New York Times bestselling author of the Newbery Honor Book, “Heart of a Samurai” and other notable novels and picture books for young readers. Her newest titles are “Village of Scoundrels,” “The Littlest Voyageur,” and “The Silver Box.”
Preus’s books have won multiple awards, been honored as ALA/ALSC Notables, selected as an NPR Backseat Book Club pick, chosen for community reads, and landed on many best-of lists.
Margi Preus’s book, “The Littlest Voyageur” was a finalist in the 2021 Minnesota Book Awards.
