On Monday, June 22 at 10:30am, Doug Ohman will visit the St. Charles Public Library to speak on Minnesota’s vanishing landmarks.
Explore back roads and small towns while hearing stories of Minnesota’s historic buildings that are quickly disappearing. Doug Ohman will share his experiences visiting many of these sites, from Minnesota’s oldest courthouse to the last Civil War recruiting station. Ohman is a popular speaker, historian, author, storyteller, and expert photographer with deep Minnesota roots.
This event coincides with the weekly Coffee & Conversation program. Every Monday morning, from 10:30-11:30am, the St. Charles Public Library offers free coffee, hot chocolate, and apple cider. Drop by the library for a hot beverage and a chat with your fellow community members.
