Did you know there was a POW camp in Whitewater State Park?  During World War II German prisoners were housed there.  They worked on local farms and helped bring in the harvest.  Come and learn about this unique time in our local history.

Jeremy Darst is a park naturalist with the Department of Natural Resources’ Division of Parks and Trails.  He shares his love of the history of the State Park as well as his knowledge of the POW camp once located there through various speaking engagements around the area.

Join us for a fun evening!
